This unique well-crafted miniature chess set is in a class of its own. The solid wood peg board and piece storage area fold with a brass hinge and are held closed magnetically to form a compact portable chess set. Though small in size, it has a number of nice features including a felted piece storage area, brass and dark metal colored pieces, and beveled edges. Pieces fit snugly in each square without being too loose or too tight.Specifications:King size: just over 1″Board size: 5 3/8 x 4 3/4 x 1 1/4Board squares are walnut and printed green. Lid cannot be closed with pieces on peg board.
