Chess Set

We love this magnetic chess set. The chess board is clean and nicely finished allowing for sliding drawer storage of the entire set of pieces. We’re impressed with the quality overall. the pieces are standard Staunton style and don’t have great detail, but they are still easily recognized as Staunton pieces. You will find them clearly distinguished from one other. The magnets are strong enough to turn the board up side down and the pieces will still cling to the board surface. Overall it’s a great collectible set that you can keep for years and enjoy as a travel or around-the-house mid range wood chess set.Camphor wood provides a unique contrasting board and the light and dark pieces help enhance that contrast so important to a good chess set.
